Youth Information & Counselling
As part of the Bungee Youth Resilience Program we can provide individual support through counselling and tailored activities in a welcoming, supportive and child friendly environment. The counselling sessions include discussion, creative activities and professional advice for parents. Qualified practitioners work intensively with children and young people to build their coping skills, resilience and self-esteem. This service assists children, young people and their parents by identifying strategies capable of initiating positive change.
Individual Support and counselling is currently offered through a qualified social worker and referrals can be received via self-referral, health professionals, community organisations and schools. Up to eight individual support sessions are offered throughout a school term and are available in two locations across the ACT. Please note an intake interview with parents/caregivers and assessment is required.
