A mentoring and life skills program helping to reduce the ACT's homeless population. Supports young people aged 16-25 yrs transitioning into or out of homelessness.
Take Hold has three components: mentoring, life skills and social enterprise.
Runs living skills groups and provides mentors to work with young people one to one. Mentors work collaboratively with individual mentees in the development of their skills and capacities, redeveloping their connection with the community.
The proposed length of the relationship is 12 months, with a commitment of an average of 5 hours per fortnight.
