About Us

Provides 24 hour information, support, referral, and assessment telephone service for individuals with alcohol and other drug issues and their families. Offers medically supervised withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs, opioid replacement therapies, counselling, case management, health promotion and liaison nursing services for patients admitted to Canberra Hospital. Provides a range of services for persons referred through the legal system for drug and/or alcohol related offences, including police early intervention and diversion, Court Alcohol and Drug Assessment Services (CADAS). Offers specialist co-morbidity program for people with co-existing mental health and alcohol and other drug issues. Some services also located at Building 7, Canberra Hospital.

Referral: For Court assessment and police diversion only. Initial telephone contact preferred. GP referrals accepted for opioid treatment medical services.
