Disability Information & Counselling
Friendly social group for people who’ve experienced a stroke or life-changing experience. Positive Links is a group for adults who have had a stroke, brain injury or a life changing experience which has left that person with a physical disability.
This group is conducted weekly and offers activities and opportunities for men and women of all ages who have survived a stroke or a physical life changing experience. We especially welcome anyone who has felt isolated at home and wants to join a group for company and friendship.
Carers are welcome to participate in the groups or use this time to attend to their own needs or recreational activities. Both programs offer guest speakers, activities, games, outings and exercises to increase strength and mobility for participants. Transport can be arranged for these programs.
We also offer a broad range of information and resources, fun and friendship.
Transport: May be eligible for BCS community transport. Wheelchair accessible transport options available
