Child (and Parent) Information & Counselling
Family Foundations is an early intervention program that promotes strong, secure, and healthy relationships between children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers.
Our highly qualified team supports parents and carers to build on their parenting knowledge, skills and experience to strengthen family relationships and bonds during early childhood. This service provides a supportive and non-judgmental environment for parents and caregivers to learn and discuss their concerns and difficulties, delivered across 12 individually tailored sessions with the potential to extend if required.
Family Foundations aims to provide families with flexible options to access support that meet their individual needs. We are also able to provide home visits for families that face barriers to transport.
Our vision is for all infants, young children and families in the ACT to have positive parenting and early childhood experiences as a foundation for future health, including social and emotional wellbeing.
