General Animal Services
Pets In The Park is a free pet clinic provided for the homeless or those at risk of homelessness who have animal companions.
The clinic is run by volunteer vets and vet nurses who believe that everybody who loves their pet deserves access to veterinary care.
It is held the first Sunday of every month 2-4pm, 1-3pm over winter, at the Early Morning Centre plaza area around the back.
Unfortunately we have very limited resources and we are unable to help everyone. For this reason we need to ensure that everyone who comes qualifies for our support.
To qualify for our service you need to:
- Have a referral letter with you from your case worker confirming eligibility; and
- Be registered with community services.
If you do not meet our requirements we are very sorry as we will not be able to see your pet today. But we are happy to talk about other services or options that might be available to you and your pet/pets.
